Seasonal Ciders
At Spreyton, we have the benefit of being in control of everything we do – that includes growing the great apples that go into our cider.
Since 2012, we have cultivated and expanded the traditional English and French cider apples we grow that gives us the privilege and flexibility to create some pretty special and unique cider blends.
Since 2016 we have released a “Cidermaker’s Select” blend that utilises the best of these cider specific varieties and have also release single apple varietal ciders.
More recently we have also experimented and released seasonal flavours utilising other fruits that we can source locally.
Kingston Black
The ultimate cider apple variety with an excellent balance.
Widely released around the world as the best apple variety for making cider – the “Kingston Black Single Varietal” is also for us one of the best of its kind.
Our Cidermaker carefully selects the best Kingston Black ferment & combines with our great Spreyton Fresh juice to blend a cider that is equally balanced & moreish.
The cider has wonderful bitterness from the tannic cider apples, sharpness from the natural acids & offset with sweet fresh apples for an all-around great cider experience.

Spiced Pear Cider
Morish spices complement the delicate pear flavour of our Spiced Pear Cider.
Our Spiced Pear cider is a winter, seasonal release, and a first for 2022. As soon as you crack open a can you can smell the wonderful aroma of cooking spices that complement a poached pear – cinnamon, vanilla, and cloves.
We have carefully blended our original pear cider with the mulling spices, nothing artificially added, to ensure those morish spices complement the delicate pear flavour of the pear.
This concept has been in the pipeline for over a year, so we were rapt with how the first attempt has turned out and have limited the release to just 4500L.

4 Orchards Blend
Rich tannin astringency, zippy, sharp acids and moreish sweet apple flavour.
The CMS “4 Orchards Blend” is the newest offering in our CMS series. What makes it very unique, is that we combine one selected apple variety of each of the four remaining apple orchards in Spreyton.
From Avro Park we have Mutso, from Ayers Orchards we have Envy (Braeburn x Royal Gala) and from Squibbs we have the Braeburn. Spreyton has included one of our heritage favourites – the Sturmer Pippin.
The final cider is a balanced blend of rich tannin astringency, zippy, sharp acids and moreish sweet, fresh apple flavour. This is a traditional, medium blend with enough complexity to keep you coming back for more.
